This has been a long time getting here everyone – apologies for that.
I gave up trying to re-create the table of results for the web site, so below is a summary of the introduction to the Vision and Planning Night on November 28th 2007, followed by a link to a PDF file containing all the contributions made on the night itself.
Note that this is simply a list of all that was offered, and which suggestions are implemented will unfold in due course.
The Next Step:
Will be for a newly formed vision team to meet and begin considering fresh directions for FNC, and they will take on board this document.
There will be more congregational meetings to continue to the consultative process – stay tuned for dates, etc.

On November 28th we held an open meeting for all FNC to share ideas, thoughts and passions for FNC in 2008 and beyond.
To stimulate our thinking a little, we focussed on this verse:
“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him,
rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught,
and overflowing with thankfulness.”
Colossians 2:6-7
Our goals: (general guiding-type goals, not designed to be taken as long term necessarily)
To grow in ways that are consistent with Colossians 2:6-7 in these areas:

1Thanks Neil,
I really appreciate the effort you are putting in to involving the whole of FNC in the future direction of our community.
It is great to be able to read back over what was discussed at the Vision Night.
I must admit my notes seem somewhat cryptic but the ideas are all still there.
I would really encourage everyone to be excited about 2008 and the new possibilities that God is opening up to our church.
So who is excited?
