There has been quite a bit of information flying around over the last few days about the experiences of B & K in South America.
There was (and still is) real concern for their ongoing personal safety, much to thank and praise God for in their experiences in that place, things to pray for for the locals where they are, and more.
We need to be discrete to protect the team and locals from possible reprisals, but here is a summary of what B&K have written about and what we can be praying about:
Wednesday, February 13th
“We don’t want to say too many specifics just for safety but everything is going great so far. It is only day 4 and we feel like we’ve been in the country and with these people for 4 weeks already.
One big prayer point is for our energy levels. We are all feeling exhausted both because of our hectic schedule and also the weight of the testimonies we are hearing. It has been great to minister to the people we are interviewing. It has been like God has used this time as a healing process for these people to unload all that they keep inside.
_One thing that we would like to say is that from the outside people only see the bad things that are happening in C: the violence, the corruption, the drugs, the pain. We are finding that this is not the end of the story at all.
Through the pain and suffering God is doing great things in this country. There is great hope for C., and it is found in Jesus. Please pray for the spread of the gospel, that people would find great hope and joy and freedom as they turn from a violent past and embrace our gospel of peace and reconciliation._
We want to tell this story of great hope and joy and transformation. Please pray that this transformation would continue to occur as people put down their guns and pick up Bibles.”
And later on Wednesday, a last prayer request via Katherine’s parents:

1Hi guys,
Things are continuing to go great here. We are hearing amazing stories of what God is doing here and there is so much to give thanks for.
We can’t wait to get back and encourage you with what is happening here!
We have a massive prayer base supporting us as a team and we would really appreciate your continued prayers.
My time on TV was really fantastic. Pray that God will use it greatly for his glory and to make many people aware of what is really happening in the persecuted church.
If anyone is interested in seeing the interviews you can probably find them on www.cbn.com I was on three different programs: The 700 Club, Christian World News (CWN) and Newswatch.
Love to all!

3Hi ,
Brad and Katherine and the team will be moving today to their last location before leaving Colombia ( on the 28th February). They have asked that we pray for their safety whilst travelling for 8 hours today. Thanks to those who are praying for them. They are constantly being amazed and humbled at how God is working amongst the people they are visiting.
