For ten days the mining town of Karratha in W.A. will not know what hit it! A team of twelve from SWAC churches – including Jono, Jamie, David and Christine from FNC – are working alongside local Christians in seeking to share Jesus with the local community.
All sound good, but judging by these photos though, it’s having a strange effect on team members…

This Sunday – November 25th – is Katie McSeveny’s last Sunday at SWAC!
As sad as this is, we want to celebrate all that God has done through Katie during her time here with a HUGE party after FNC.
FNC is the people at The Factory every Sunday night!
Some people have been at FNC for long time, some are relatively recent members.
Sarah has been around FNC for a while now…

In an SMS received by The Phatman today (July 28) from The Cork:
In a tale involving father of the bride part 2, a well wrapped gift (by cork), a space outfit, love, happiness and a ring. I am pleased to announce amy accepted my marriage proposal. We’re engaged. Thanks to all those who have supported our relationship. It’s an exciting and awesome time. Praise God.
Huge congrats from everyone at FNC to you both!
Update: Keep Feb 16th 2008 free… ;-)

Kirby fits into the second category for the best of reasons…
FNC is the people at The Factory every Sunday night!
And this is the first in what we hope will be a long line of interviews and other contributions that speak of the amazing work that God does in the lives of FNCers…
A few weeks back it was great to have Kate D. back at FNC for the night. Kate is drawing to the close of her study at Bible College.
For a good part of that time, Kate has worked as a student minister at a highly multi-cultural church in Fairfield.
Read on for more news of Kate’s exciting journey as she seeks to serve our great God…
After Sunday’s sermon, which highlighted the sufferings of Christ, I was challenged in a few ways.
1. The sermon showed that our present sufferings are minuscule compared to that which Christ endured (both during his life and particularly on the cross), and I was challenged to suffer more for being a Christian.
2. I was reminded what our attitude to Christ should be. To keep wilfully sinning is basically to join in with those who were tempting and ridiculing Him – which is something pretty vile. But to turn to Christ in full submission and thankfulness, after his severe suffering and sacrifice for us, is completely right.
3. It also showed me more of the greatness and power of Christ’s resurrection. He endured such massive temptation on the cross, only to overcome in a massive way by defeating death.
